Aldy Hotel opened on January 1, 2004 providing comfortable and affordable accommodation to travelers visiting Melaka. We are a 3-star boutique hotel tucked away in the heart of the historic Melaka, a sanctuary in the midst of historical landmarks, tourist attractions and shopping complexes. Aldy is situated in the “Red Centre” on the “World Heritage Site” (UNESCO) of Melaka where famous structures and landmarks like the Stadthuys, Clock Tower and Christ Church – all painted in distinctive ochre red – built during the Dutch occupation in the 17th century, are just a stone throws away from us.
The hotel is within walking distance to places of interest such as St. Paul Hill, Porta De Santiago, Jonker Walk, Chinatown, Little India and Dataran Pahlawan, the biggest shopping complex in Melaka. Bamboo Hut Bistro occupies the former bank, with its building still intact. It was restored and opened for business since 31 August 2000, Malaysia’s first National Day in the new millennium. With the setting up of Bamboo Hut Bistro, the historical area along Jalan Kota which was usually dark and quiet at night, immediately came to life with its music and bright lights. Tourists now had a place to rest and dine.
At the Rooftop D’Place, you can hold your very own private functions and let your guests enjoy a bird’s eye view of the Straits of Malacca and the picturesque town centre. Being part of Aldy Hotel, Bamboo Hut Bistro and Rooftop D’Place, we will consistently strive to offer you exceptional dining experiences and a memorable stay in this beautiful city.
